New
- See where you show up in WordPress.org search. Add the search terms your buyers use, and Rivale shows where you and each competitor land in the first 100 results, plus the change since last week. Add them on your Overview or while you set up.
- Watch search positions over time. Compare has a new Search tab. Pick a term to see your daily position next to the competitors you selected, over 30 days, 90 days or all time. History starts the day you add the term.
- See who leads your tags. The table on your Overview now shows where each plugin sits in the tags your plugin uses on WordPress.org, next to its overall rank.
- A clearer weekly email. It opens with one line on what your competitors did. Security updates, runs of bad reviews and pricing changes each get a short section of their own. Your rankings come next, with your biggest move in search or tags. Everything else is a short list, and each item links to the details. Every percentage shows the two numbers behind it.
- One weekly email for all your projects. If you have more than one project, one email covers them all, and each competitor update says which of your plugins it is about.
- The Slack weekly matches the email. It carries the same content as the email, in the same order, including your rankings.
- Security updates come with the competitor’s own words. When a competitor ships a security update, the weekly quotes the line from their changelog.
- Want to add a teammate? Click I’d like to add a teammate on the Team page and we’ll let you know when the feature becomes available.
- A Rankings tab on every competitor page. It shows the competitor’s WordPress.org rank and how it moved in the last 30 days, and tells you how many places it needs to climb to reach the next install tier. The tab also shows where it sits in each of its own tags, with the plugins just above and below it, and where it lands on your search terms next to you. Its rank also appears on the competitor’s Overview tab.

- The Overview and competitor pages now fit on a phone screen, with no sideways scrolling.
